Is Peralta capable of anything but grounders to the left side?

He is so, so gassed. He isn't even a good AAA player at this point. There's nothing left.

Grandpa Utley just legged out a triple against our lazy jogging outfielders and our weak relay throw.

Time to throw in the towel.

He's quickly becoming one of my least favorite Cardinals. Terrible sign.

These ESPN guys blow goats for quarters.

Suttcliffe is just a moron and Sciambi is kibbitzing with his colleagues back at the desk and it's just annoying as all getout.

The Cardinals stink. What do you expect?

The new "Cardinal Way" is to play the field like the Flubs.

Did anyone tell DeJong to put that one in his pocket and not let the go ahead run score?

Gump better be really thankful Wainwright found a new groove.

Wacha's last starts added to a leaky Wainwright would have this team in last place.

Dewitt will no doubt cut prices for food and drinks to make up for the below standard play of his team.

I just tuned in. It appears someone finally taught Martinez the proper form for swinging at bad pitches.

    Really bad pitches.

Mabry teaches them how to swing so they can hit the upper deck if they ever do connect just right.

It's a lot harder to do than you think. See how hard they try?

    It's time.

    Lineup Tomorrow:

    Carp
    $owler
    Diaz
    Pham
    Molina
    Piscotty/Martinez
    Dejong
    Carlos
    Garcia

When Jerk and Wong are back

    Carp
    $owler
    Diaz
    Gyorko
    Pham
    Molina
    Piscotty
    Pitcher
    Wong

This lineup construction can't do much worse than the current! Cuz let's all face it!! CARPENTER is a head case and can't hit outside of the leadoff spot. Let's quit re-inventing the wheel as an organization!

I agree. Carp has to hit leadoff to be successful and Fowler can't hit leadoff and be successful.

Hopefully Buffet Broxton gets lit up here and released like Soco! Maybe do a two for one and let Peralta hit the road with him. They could carpool and hit every Buffet between here and their hometowns.

They say that hitting a round ball with a round bat is extremely difficult. I assume it's equally difficult to hit a round bat with a round, pitched ball… However; Brox seems to have perfected the task.

And now Horton reminds us it's a tough game to stay at your best every night. So that's why Broxton sucks nightly, keeps the bar attainable.
