    2017 Rules Changes - Anyone?

I know we've bantered about in previous years. Any rules motions? Scoring, roster size/make-up, etc. Now's the time.

Gotta be honest...I hate holds...just hate them...but that is prolly just me...lol. We would have to add another cat or take one away from hitting so I don't have the answers. Just would like to see this mostly random stat go away.

Less players on the roster so that the waiver pool is greater.

We lowered it last year from 25 to 22.....I would be against lowering it further.

I agree with this really. K:BB ratio is a much better stat for this format.

We currently use 3 percentage categories for hitters. I'd be for scrapping holds in favor of K/BB. I'll look to see what our options are on yahoo.

We can do K:BB ratio or K/9. Or we could do QS.

Out of those 3, i think the K:BB stat is best to use.

K:BB it still makes relief pitchers useful but not tied to a the hold stat. it also makes guys who may not have a ton of strike outs but have good control valuable.

Can we just all reach consensus that this is what we want? Honestly, unless someone has a great argument FOR holds, I'm all for eliminating them, too.

K:BB Ratio is a nice category to which ALL pitchers contribute.

    24-hour warning starts now.
